Renee J. (Talbot) Buehler

Renee J. Buehler, age 61, passed away on March 16, 2024 at The Gardens at Millville after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born July 14, 1962, in Cortland, New York, a daughter of the late Earl Talbot and Jean (Raymond) Hall.

She graduated from Moravia High School’s Class of 1980, Moravia, NY.  She furthered her education by obtaining her LPN and RN license, Graduating from Geisinger School of Nursing Class of 1994.  She worked as a Nursing Supervisor, Regional Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing before retiring as a Director of Nursing from The Gardens of Millville in 2023. She touched so many lives during her nursing career. 

She was married to her loving husband, Eugene (Fuzzy) Buehler, celebrating 40 years prior to his passing November 7, 2022.  

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and enjoyed her time most with her grandchildren.

Renee had a great love for auctions, crafting, and cooking. You were sure to never leave hungry. 

Surviving are her three children and two stepchildren:  Wade Buehler (Mary Ann) of Bloomsburg, Wendy Gearhart (Kevin) of Nescopeck, Ashley Buehler (Brian) of Millville, Cody Buehler (Reanna) of Orangeville, and Joseph Buehler (Kaitlin) of Virginia; five grandsons:  Nick Phares, Drew Gearhart, Colt Houseknecht, Emmett and Finn Buehler; a stepfather:  Frank Hall; a brother:  Scott Talbot (Terrie); family friend:  Greg Lefchak and numerous family and friends.  

A Visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, 4394 Red Rock Road, (State Route 487) Benton.  A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Millville High School Scholarship in Eugene and Renee's names to Millville High School, PO Box 260, Millville, PA 17846.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Gardens at Millville and Compassus Hospice for their exceptional care.
