Anna May (Tripp) Brandon, 89, of Bethel Hill, (Fairmount Township) died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Bonham Nursing Center, Stillwater.
Born September 11, 1934 in Shippen Township, Tioga County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Affie (Evans) Tripp. She and her husband, Dale F. Brandon, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary this past August 24th.
Mrs. Brandon attended the former Mossville School and then graduated from the Huntington Mills High School in 1951.
Over the course of her working life, she was employed as a bookkeeper, tax preparer, and wedding cake decorator. Her favorite pastime was doing jigsaw puzzles.
She had been an active member of the Bethel Hill Bible Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a Girl Scout Leader in her younger years.
Mrs. Brandon enjoyed being a homemaker and was known for her cooking and baking. She also was known to be an accomplished seamstress.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Dale, are her two daughters: Valerie A. Anderson and her husband, Dave, of Knob Noster, Missouri; Toni L. Zeveney and her husband, Steve, of Milford, Delaware; five grandchildren: Morgan, Patrick, Hayden, Andrew and Anna; three great grandchildren: Owen, Adalyn and Milo and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the last member of her immediate family and along with her parents, was preceded in death by the following siblings: Betty Hall, Glen Tripp, Lee Tripp, Earl Tripp, Irma Pettitt and Barb Shiers.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at 1 PM at the Bethel Hill Bible Church with Rev. Mike Bodek, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Bethel Hill Bible Church,
